Mother to child transmission of HIV remains one of the ways of spreading HIV. To reduce this challenge, KWID conducted a campaign to sensitize men and women on PMTC in Kamwezi and Bukinda Sub Counties-Rukiga District. This resulted in:

• 583 adults (383 F and 200F) attended the meetings.
• Recruiting into the program as early as three months
• Husbands accompanying wives for Antenatal care to know their HIV status together, delivering in a health facility to be assisted by trained personnel were emphasized.
